Do you have a bare space of concrete that is in need of an update? Adding plants is a great way to add a touch of style, but large containers that cannot be moved may not be preferred. A perfect item for any paved area is a wheeled planter you can build as a DIY project.

A couple of used pallets and some scrap wood are all you need to build a simple wheeled planter. Adding wheels will require the use of a power drill. The wheels for the planter are casters that will should be at least four inches.

The interior of your wheeled planter will require a plastic liner. This will ensure you are not adding soil to bare wood as it will rot over time. You want your planter to last more than one season. The planter is likely to last at least three years if you paint or stain the wood.

Instructions to make your own wheeled planter are found on lovelygreens.com here…
