Old sweaters are a great item to use for a craft project as a way to upcycle or recycle. You can make a lot of fun things by using old items of clothing. A great way to keep your legs warm during the winter is to make leg warmers from an old sweater as DIY craft project. The process is really easy and you do not need to do any sewing.
Supplies
Fabric Glue
Scissors
Old Leg Warmer
Instructions
Step 1
Lay the sweater you want to use for the project flat on the floor or on a table. Make sure the arms are stretched out fully.
Step 2
Place an old leg warmer over one of the arms and cut the arm off of the sweater by using the scissors.
Step 3
Measure and cut the other arm of the sweater with the piece you cut off in step 2.
Step 3
Place both of the cut arms together and set the old leg warmer on top to measure the width. Cut down the length with using the scissors.
Step 4
Turn the fabric inside out and seal the edges by using the fabric glue. Allow the glue to dry and turn them right side out to wear when out in the cold.
