All-natural ingredients can be used to make various types of products. One interesting product that you can make is a hand wash putty that does not include any soap. This is a great option to save money and benefit from a potent moisturizing cleanser.

Many people suffer from dry skin during winter months and may spend money on various creams. You may find that a hand wash putty is a great alternative, which can be easily made at home. It is important to note that the ingredients each serve a specific purpose since there is no actual soap involved in this hand wash putty.

Basic hand wash putty requires ground and dried marshmallow root. Some of the ingredients, like the dried marshmallow root, may need to be found online or at your local health food stores. Marshmallow root helps soothe the skin and gives the hand wash putty the proper texture.

Keep in mind that most dried marshmallow root is not ground. This means that you will need to grind the roots yourself or search for ingredients that are already ground. When you mix all of your ingredients together (including the ground and dried marshmallow root), you will be, essentially, creating a dough that will then need to be placed into a mold to properly set up. Interestingly, the best mold for a hand wash putty is going to be a simple muffin tin.

One of the important factors in creating this all-natural hand wash putty is that no preservatives are used in the recipe. As a result, any extra putty that you make will need to be frozen. You will find that your putty doesn’t freeze into a hard mass; instead, it will be similar to cold ice cream.

The best way to use hand wash putty is to start with an amount the size of a teaspoon. Rub the putty on your hands and count to ten before adding some hot water. Pat dry and enjoy much softer hands.
