Do you have extra strings of Christmas lights that you bought on clearance? These are a perfect item to use for making glowing garden globes to use for decoration. The globes are actually made of glass and can be set outside. You can find the globes for practically pennies at garage sales, and we’ve been lucky many times finding them at the Habitat For Humanity ReStore.

There are many color options you can consider for your glowing garden globes. If you have lights with a colored pattern, then they will be perfect for this project. You can use a regular set lights or any type of LED lights that are battery operated. We prefer these LED lights because they come in some many colors, are inexpensive, and it makes it easier to place them in the garden without needing to plug into electricity.

Another really awesome idea is to set up glowing garden globes to a remote. This will allow you to use a remote control to turn the lights on and off or possibly change the color that is displayed. If you want something different for your garden, then this will be a fun project that will be really easy to do.
