Do you have a garden area that does not have a dedicated walkway? A great way to have a fun activity for kids that doubles as a walkway for adults is to make some garden hopscotch stepping stones. You will need a few tools and materials to complete this project.

A simple way to make garden hopscotch stepping stones is to paint numbers on existing stones. If your preference is to create something from scratch, then a little more work is involved. You need to use forms and mix concrete to make all your stepping stones.

Polished stones or other material can be used to make the numbers for the stones. Make sure to wait for the concrete to fully cure, before removing your garden hopscotch stepping stones from the forms. The stepping stones will be ready to remove from the forms in 24 hours, but will need another week to fully cure.

Instructions to make your own garden hopscotch stepping stones are on gardentherapy.ca here…
