Many people are familiar with jams and jellies that are made from fruit. However, you can make jellies from many sources. One source that is not often thought of as an option is flowers. Many types that are used to decorate a landscape are edible and can be used to make flower jellies.

Different flavors of jellies can be made if you want to experiment. You can make flower jellies by using an assortment of edible flower blossoms that you can collect in your area. Jellies that are made from flowers will be similar to standard jellies made from fruit.

You will need to use heat from your stove or hot plate. The flower blossoms will infuse with water that is used as the base for the jelly. Mason jars or glass jars will also be necessary. A pressure canner is also an item that you may want to have on hand to simplify the canning process for the jelly.
